Panel dividing and Storage Technology: Pioneering solutions for trade and industry

27.09.2026 г.

HOMAG will be showcasing a wide range of panel dividing and storage technology solutions that deliver efficient cutting, automated material provision and intelligent storage. The portfolio includes both standalone machines and networked cells for trade and industry.

Simply powerful: The SAWTEQ S-190 delivers powerful cutting in a compact format

Businesses looking to increase capacity or stabilize existing workflows require a solution that is available quickly, works reliably and simply functions well from day to day. The SAWTEQ S-190 combines established HOMAG technology with a cost-effective machine concept.

Well advised.

With a saw blade projection of 95 mm, the panel dividing saw is designed for high throughput in everyday operation. Saw carriage speeds of up to 120 m/min ensure rapid work, while the precise program fence with a positioning accuracy of ± 0.1 mm/m ensures precise results. The integrated side pressure device helps to reduce cycle times by up to 25 percent. Robust components such as the machine body, pressure beam and clamps hold the material securely in position and also support a consistently high cutting quality.

Easier operation.

The practicality is also evident in the control system. CADmatic 5 guides you safely through the cutting process with its intuitive interface, 3D assistance graphics and quickTip. This facilitates training and supports operators while they work. This is a real advantage, particularly when orders change or new staff are working at the machine.

To ensure that the downstream workflows continue to run smoothly after cutting, the saw has a label printer directly on the operating panel. This means that all process-relevant information is reliably passed on to the next work steps — creating transparency, increasing process reliability and ensuring smooth material flow.

Quick start.

Developed in Germany and built in Europe, the SAWTEQ S-190 combines high quality with practical benefits. Short delivery times, robust technology and familiar operating logic enable fast commissioning and rapid deployment in everyday production.

Anniversary editions of the SAWTEQ S-300 and S-400 models: Traditionally ahead of their time

What began as a vision in 1966 is now an internationally sought-after success story: We are celebrating 60 years of panel dividing technology at our Holzbronn site. Erwin Jenker laid the foundations with his pioneering spirit and tireless energy, and the site has since developed into a hub for precision, innovation and craftsmanship.

From the Black Forest to world market leader

Today, around 400 employees work at the Holzbronn site to make the cutting of panel materials ever more efficient, intelligent and ergonomic. From here, HOMAG Plattenaufteiltechnik supplies carpenters and joiners, interior fitters and kitchen and office furniture manufacturers — from small woodworking shops to global businesses.

Anniversary editions of the SAWTEQ S-300 and S-400 models — exclusive benefits for customers

To mark the company's 60th anniversary, the SAWTEQ S-300 and SAWTEQ S-400 series are available in exclusive anniversary editions. The special models are limited to a total of 60 machines and offer customers an attractive price saving.

The SAWTEQ S-300 and SAWTEQ S-400 combine performance, speed and reliable technology with intelligent, digital and self-learning functions. Perfectly coordinated processes, a powerful saw carriage and excellent energy efficiency all help to deliver efficient production workflows, increased productivity and the sustainable use of resources.

The anniversary edition is equipped with various premium features and an extensive service offering. These include:

  • toleranceCheck
Continuously ensures the required dimensional and angular accuracy of each part — even with stress-prone material.
  • Post-production of parts
This option is integrated in the CADmatic saw control system. It collects parts that need to be produced again, automatically transfers them for optimization, and creates new cutting patterns. This means that parts can be reproduced quickly, easily and reliably and returned cleanly to the overall process.
  • Manual offcuts management
Organizes manual offcuts directly at the saw, prevents unnecessary offcut stocks and improves material utilization. Offcut compartments are clearly displayed, and offcut requirements are reported and logged at an early stage.
  • Labeling with parts graphic
Identifies single parts or complete stacks with all relevant product information — creating transparency, increasing process reliability and helping to ensure smooth material flow.
  • intelliGuide Classic
Colored LED signals along the cutting line allow intuitive operation and a speedy and safe way of working.
  • Warranty extended to two years, incl. wearing parts package
Provides additional security, predictable costs, and long-term protection of your investment.

"Floor-level destacking. Next-level efficiency." with the hybrid robot saws

The robot saws in the SAWTEQ S-200 flexTec, S-300 flexTec and S-400 flexTec series are undergoing major expansion: From now on, cut workpieces can be placed not only on retractable lifting tables but also directly on floor-level pallets with a protection board. Reference points on the floor define the exact deposit positions of the pallets. Once the cutting process is complete, the pallets can be easily transported onward using a pallet truck or forklift truck — a clear advantage for efficient material flows.

Tangible benefits — especially for smaller businesses.

This version of the robot lacks the classic base, allowing it to work in a flatter position. This significantly reduces the required hall height and facilitates integration into existing production environments. At the same time, the technical expenditure is reduced, as retractable lifting tables are no longer required. This, in turn, leads to lower investment costs and adds economic appeal to the entry into automation, even when it comes to small cutting quantities.

New position of the parts buffer.

Due to the lower robot position, the parts buffer is no longer placed above the pressure beam in this version, but instead on the floor. This is where the robot temporarily deposits parts that are to be destacked or fed into the saw again later. The cleaning station for the alignment suction unit of the cross rail, which is otherwise attached to the parts buffer, is now located directly on the right-angled fence. Regular blowing off prevents dust deposits on the vacuum suction unit, ensuring consistently high process reliability.

Intelligent destacking.

Regardless of whether the parts are destacked at floor level on pallets or on retractable lifting tables, the specially developed destacking software with its intelligent algorithm enables the flexTec saws to operate unmanned over long distances. The robot works without operator intervention until the stacks are finished.

The benefits at a glance:

  • Lower overall height: Due to destacking at floor level, the robot saw fits into almost any workshop.
  • Reduced investment costs: Pallets rest directly on the floor.
  • Easy material transport: Pallets can be transported onward directly.
  • Flexible use: Combine automatic and manual operation.

Intelligently optimize cutting patterns with intelliDivide

Modern cutting optimization now extends far beyond simply calculating cutting patterns. With the latest enhancements, intelliDivide helps users to find the most cost-effective solution more quickly, make informed decisions, and systematically tailor optimizations to the needs of their business. New functions create increased transparency and cost-effectiveness and also offer additional flexibility in the cutting process.

More cost-effective

The new intelliDivide functions help to evaluate optimization results not only according to material utilization but also according to economic considerations. With the ability to display the most cost-effective option, integrated total cost calculation and individually adjustable trim dimensions, it is possible to create holistic view of material usage, offcut utilization and production costs. This enables companies to reduce their cutting costs over the long term.

More transparent

Extended display and evaluation options ensure greater transparency throughout the optimization process. Users receive a detailed overview of various optimization suggestions and machine configurations, plus details of the effects of different cutting strategies. The clear visualization of relevant influencing factors makes it easier to track decisions and increases planning reliability during day-to-day operation.

More individual

New control and adaptation options make intelliDivide even more flexible. Customizable cutting specifications, application-specific templates, the targeted selection of plates and offcuts, and integration of these settings into materialManager allow perfectly tailored optimization results. Companies can therefore be even more systematic in how they integrate their production processes and material strategies into cutting optimization workflows.
