It's grown up, but stayed small — the new DRILLTEQ V-110 continues a success story.

In 2009, under the name BHX 050/055—at the time manufactured under the WEEKE brand—it first saw the light of day. At the time, it was considered an innovation for furniture production: a vertical machining center, compact in design and engineered for drilling, grooving and milling. In 2018, with the new nomenclature, it was renamed the DRILLTEQ V-200. Starting with this year’s HOMAG Treff, the machine will continue under the name DRILLTEQ V-110. Over the past 17 years, approximately 7,000 machines have found their way into workshops.

About five square meters. That’s all it takes.

Small businesses and craft workshops in particular benefit from this vertical design. In just under 5 m², the compact CNC machine handles key steps in cabinet fabrication. It’s suitable for both just-in-time production and custom manufacturing in larger facilities. The clamping system, which operates without a vacuum, positions the workpiece in front of the vertically movable units.

Just as versatile as ever.

Its compact footprint is only part of the story. What matters most is what the machine does with it: The new PC87 control system noticeably simplifies programming. At the same time, the processing range expands: Workpieces ranging from 8 to 60 mm in thickness, 50 to 850 mm in width, and 200 to 2,500 mm in length (optionally 3,050 mm) can now be processed flexibly. Operators have the option to choose from various drilling gear sets, along with other options, to suit their needs. This offers added value in terms of flexibility. There are no fixed combinations or assignments here.

The DRILLTEQ V-110 builds on what the BHX 050/055 started: precise CNC machining that takes up little space and delivers great performance in everyday use.
