HOMAG Treff 2026: Personal dialogue, together with innovations for the future of woodworking
29.09.2026 г.
HOMAG’s international in-house exhibition brought together customers, industry experts and partners from around the world. The focus was on innovative technologies, practical solutions and personal dialogue about the future of woodworking.
With nearly 2,000 visitors from more than 50 countries, HOMAG Treff 2026 once again became an international meeting point for the woodworking industry. From September 22 to 25, HOMAG presented solutions for efficient, flexible and future-proof production at its Schopfloch and Holzbronn locations.
Under the motto “Building connections. The future is shaped in person.” visitors from around the world took the opportunity to experience technologies live, exchange ideas with experts and discuss the specific requirements of their own production operations. Key topics included automation, digitalization, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and how to address the growing shortage of skilled workers.
“HOMAG Treff stands for what our industry needs today: personal conversations, practical solutions and a shared focus on the future. This is exactly where the best ideas for tomorrow’s production emerge.”
Frederik Meyer, Executive Vice President Sales, HOMAG
Innovations across the entire process chain
A distinctive feature of HOMAG Treff is the opportunity not only to learn about technologies, but also to experience them directly in practical operation. Across the entire process chain, HOMAG showcased solutions for panel dividing and storage technology, edge processing, CNC machining, automation, window production and digital manufacturing.
In panel dividing, the new SAWTEQ S-190, which combines proven HOMAG technology with a particularly cost-effective machine concept, attracted considerable attention. Another focal point was the hybrid robotic saw SAWTEQ S-200 flexTec with its new destacking option onto floor-level pallets. To mark the 60th anniversary, HOMAG also presented the SAWTEQ S-300 as an exclusive anniversary model.
Edge processing was one of the key focus areas at HOMAG Treff 2026. Visitors were able to experience the broad portfolio live—from entry-level standalone machines and high-performance solutions for craft businesses and medium-sized companies to automated production and robotic concepts. The focus was on flexibility, short setup times, high process reliability and ease of operation.
A key message from the in-house exhibition was that the future of edge processing lies not in the machine alone, but in the interaction of automation, software and intelligently networked processes. From return systems and closed-loop solutions to robot-assisted production cells, HOMAG demonstrated how employees can be relieved of handling tasks, giving them more time for value-adding activities. It also became clear that companies can expand their level of automation step by step to suit their individual requirements and production volumes.
In the CNC area, trade visitors were also able to experience a range of applications and automation solutions live and discuss efficient production methods. The new vertical entry-level DRILLTEQ V-110 solution particularly appealed to craft businesses, which were impressed by its extensive machining capabilities within a footprint of just 5 m². The DRILLTEQ H-610 high-speed center for six-sided processing proved to be a real crowd-puller. The live demonstrations impressively showed how the two pairs of clamps, which can pass each other, minimize waiting times and noticeably accelerate production. The new CENTATEQ N-310 nesting machine brings five-axis nesting and shaped-part processing to the compact mid-range segment for the first time. The “adaptive stop system” generated particular enthusiasm.
With the CENTATEQ P/E-310, HOMAG demonstrated the close integration of CNC technology and robotics, making automation more accessible and significantly reducing manual handling tasks. The CENTATEQ P/E-510 showcased new possibilities for automated setup, maximum flexibility and high-performance CNC machining. In window production, the CENTATEQ S-800/900 demonstrated how high output, maximum process reliability and the cost-effective production of a wide variety of workpieces can be combined in one continuous production process.
Digitalization, automation and artificial intelligence
Alongside the machine solutions, digital technologies and intelligent automation concepts took center stage. With HOMAG INTELLIGENCE and the HOMAG Digital Platform, the company demonstrated how data can be used across different process steps—from sales and planning through to ongoing production.
The focus was on tangible benefits for companies: more transparent processes, end-to-end data flows, better production planning and the ability to identify optimization potential at an early stage.
Artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and the shortage of skilled workers were also addressed in practical terms during live talks and personal discussions. Visitors were able to assess current developments together with HOMAG experts and discuss specific approaches for their own production operations.
A total of eight Live-Talks, factory tours and other dialogue formats complemented the machine demonstrations. They provided additional insights and brought the various future-focused topics to life from different perspectives.
Craftsman Days featuring practical solutions
A special focus of HOMAG Treff 2026 was the Craftsman Days. A unique breakfast, specialist information, live demonstrations and personal discussions offered small and medium-sized businesses a program tailored specifically to their requirements.
The emphasis was on practical solutions that make processes more efficient, reduce the workload on skilled employees and enable more flexible use of production capacity. Modern concepts for window production were also presented live.
The program was complemented by 24 specialist exhibitors. In addition to suppliers of fittings, power tools, adhesives, edge solutions and other important woodworking components, financing and funding experts provided information on suitable support and investment options. Companies such as Dürr, Benz, SCHULER Consulting and tapio also presented their solutions for efficient, connected and future-oriented production processes. This gave visitors a comprehensive overview of how machines, tools, materials, financing options and digital applications interact in modern manufacturing.
Personal dialogue as the connecting element
Despite all the technological innovations, personal dialogue remained the connecting element of HOMAG Treff. Whether during machine demonstrations, live talks, factory tours or individual consultations, visitors were able to discuss their specific requirements, production situations and planned projects directly with HOMAG experts.
Service and cybersecurity also played an important role. HOMAG presented solutions for secure remote service and for protecting digitally connected production processes. After all, modern production must not only be powerful and efficient, but also resilient and secure.
Further inspiration came from SCHULER Consulting and its experience in providing holistic consulting services to companies in the woodworking and furniture industries. tapio and BENZ Tooling complemented the program with solutions for digital processes, modern tool management and high-performance tooling technologies.
A meeting point for the international woodworking industry
HOMAG Treff 2026 confirmed its role as one of the most important international industry meeting points for the woodworking and furniture industries.
The strong international response showed that companies around the world face similar challenges. These include increasing demands for productivity and flexibility, the shortage of qualified skilled workers, the growing connectivity of production processes and the security of digital systems.
At the same time, it became clear that there is no single universal solution. What matters are concepts tailored to a company’s people, processes, markets and specific requirements.
“HOMAG Treff connects people, markets and technologies. These personal encounters make the difference and lay the foundation for sustainable success.”
Tobias Schaible, Vice President, Regional Sales Europe HOMAG
Looking ahead together
HOMAG Treff 2026 demonstrated how the requirements of woodworking are changing. Automation is becoming accessible to more and more companies, end-to-end data flows are continuing to gain importance, robotics and CNC technology are becoming more closely integrated, and cybersecurity is becoming an integral part of modern production concepts.
The focus is always on the people who plan, use and further develop these technologies. It is precisely the combination of live experiences, personal consultation and professional exchange that makes it possible to turn technological innovations into concrete solutions for everyday operations.
“Building connections. The future is shaped in person.” This motto shaped HOMAG Treff 2026 and made the in-house exhibition an international meeting point for dialogue about the future of woodworking.
