New for our robot saws: Lower overall height and reduced expenditure.

The robot saws in the SAWTEQ S-200, S-300 and S-400 series are undergoing major expansion: From now on, cut workpieces can be placed not only on retractable lifting tables, but also directly on floor-level pallets with a protection board. Reference points on the floor define the exact deposit positions of the pallets. Once the cutting process is complete, the pallets can be easily transported onward using a pallet truck or forklift truck — a clear advantage for efficient material flows.

Tangible benefits — especially for smaller businesses.

This version of the robot lacks the classic base, allowing it to work in a flatter position. This significantly reduces the required hall height and facilitates integration into existing production environments. At the same time, the technical expenditure is reduced, as retractable lifting tables are no longer required. This, in turn, leads to lower investment costs and adds economic appeal to the entry into automation, even when it comes to small cutting quantities.

New position of the parts buffer.

Due to the lower robot position, the parts buffer is no longer placed above the pressure beam in this version, but instead on the floor. This is where the robot temporarily deposits parts that are to be destacked or fed into the saw again later. The cleaning station for the alignment suction unit of the cross rail, which is otherwise attached to the parts buffer, is now located directly on the right-angled fence. Regular blowing off prevents dust deposits on the vacuum suction units and therefore ensures a consistently high level of process reliability.

Intelligent destacking.

Whether destacking at floor level or using retractable lifting tables, the destacking software with intelligent algorithm developed in-house ensures that flexTec saws operate unmanned over long periods. The robot works without operator intervention until the stacks are finished.
