Functional description
Utilization:
Drilling of metal components delivered to a CNC machine with magnetic gripping system. The robotic application is equipped with an operator terminal, where the operators are selecting the CNC program to be executed and the robot knows the location of the parts on the trolleys as well as the drilling program for the CNC machine. All parts are positioned next to each other on a moveable trolley and based on a laser system, the solution is identifying all of them and positioning them in the drilling machine with great accuracy.
Once the process is completed, the robot is destacking the parts to the next trolley and loading the next parts for drilling.
